Cafe Casa(カーザ)は、ポルトガル語で家や家族という意味を持っています。
自分の家に居る時のように、ゆったりとした気持ちで料理をいただいてほしいと願って、Casa(カーザ)と名付けたのだそう。
パンやケーキを作るのが大好きな奥様と、以前からカフェをやってみたいと考えていた旦那様のお二人は、手作りの味をとっても大事にしています。
アイボリー調の店内、そしてシンプルな木製テーブルと椅子が温かな家庭をイメージさせてくれます。
Casa（カーザ）では、毎朝パンを焼いています。
種類はベーグルにコーンブレッド、スコーンなどなど。ワッフルは注文をお受けしてから焼き上げるため、サクサクの食感が楽しめちゃいます。
パンは手にとってみるとどれもほくほくで温かい！オーブンで温めなおすことで、香りも増してすっごく美味しくなるんです。オーブンを開けた時に広がる香りがたまらない！
とうもろこしの粉で作るというコーンブレッドの、口の中に広がるどこか素朴な、懐かしい味。お値段も￥２００と、お財布にも優しくて毎日でも食べたくなってしまいますね☆
「じっくりゆっくりと馴染んでから、お客さんの意見を取り入れていきたい。最初からあれもこれもなんて出来ないけれど、出来ることから一つずつ初めていきたいな」と笑顔で話してくれました。
一人で来店し、まったりと過ごすお客様や、おばあちゃんとお孫さんという温かな組み合わせもしばしば。『ただいま』と言いたくなるようなアットホームな雰囲気と暖かい対応が、訪れるお客さんを、また来たいな‥という気持ちにさせてくれるのでしょう
